Graftech is seeking a Windows, VMware, and SAN Administrator position to help/troubleshoot day to day operations as well as implement new technology which will allow the company to grow. The position will report to the Infrastructure Manager and must be available all hours of the day.
Pre-requisites/Requirements:
- Three to five years of hands on Windows 2003/2008 Administration.
- Experience administering and managing EMC SANS.
- Global Enterprise experience in Active Directory 2003 and 2008 R2.
- Large Enterprise administration in Exchange 2003 and 2010.
- Understands and can implement Active Directory Forest consolidations\migrations.
- Heavy experience with VMware ESX 3.5 and higher.
- Knowledgeable in Citrix Presentation Server 4.5.
- Experience and understanding of SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008.
- Understanding of performance monitoring, Terminal Servers, patch management, and Group Policies (GPO).
- Working knowledge in TCP/IP including DNS, DHCP, WINS, HTTP, etc
- Ability to troubleshoot IT Systems in a complex Enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with multiple server vendors. Dell Experience a plus.
- Adding structure to IT operations – implementing change management, documentation, best practices, etc.
- The ability to “think outside the box.”
- The capacity and patience to work well under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Any development skills is a big plus
